I may dig further into my ram also, which in the engineering magazines would
be called a linear actuator. Alpha can't possibly make their own, and it's
posssible that they buy something box stock. If you happen to see a
manufacturer's part number or name anywhere inside yours let me know & I'll
do likewise. Then we could get parts for it from any industrial supply and
possibly good information on operation parameters, just for the ram.
